As the leading association for the hydration industry, it is the single point of reference for those who require and supply hydration solutions. The WHA provides information, training, guidance and regulations that are implemented, audited and enforced ensuring quality and sustainability of the services offered by our Members to their customers.
The WHA promotes innovation in recognition of the Industry’s environmental responsibilities and compliance with the UK and European legislation, giving our Members a distinct point of difference in the hydration marketplace.
The WHA facilitates the exchange of technical, scientific and regulatory information between Industry Members and related bodies and serves as the authoritative source. The WHA's mission is to ensure that its Members offer the highest standards of quality, safety and hygiene to the consumer together with an unimpeachable product and service.
The WHA has close and ongoing relationships with key national and local government departments and agencies including the FSA, DEFRA, the Environment Agency, Trading Standards and Environmental Health Departments.
At a European level, the WHA is a Member of the Watercoolers Europe (WE). The WHA takes a key executive role in the activities of WE which represents the interests of several hundred companies in the water dispenser industry throughout Western and Eastern Europe in relation to EU directives and regulations

For continued membership and accreditation, Members must adhere to strict Bylaws, Codes of Practice and the Code of Advertising and Conduct and are rigorously audited annually for compliance.
To ensure the attainment of the highest standards of quality, safety, hygiene and ethical conduct in the water dispenser industry through unimpeachable products and services supplied by Members to their customers, in full recognition of the Industry’s environmental responsibilities, whilst promoting hydration benefits.
