WHA Members enjoy business support service

Posted on 24th July 2020 by Phillipa ClowPosted in Hydration, News, UncategorisedLeave a Comment on WHA Members enjoy business support service

Throughout past months businesses have struggled to keep up with the affect of Covid-19 in their day to day lives.

However, WHA Members have enjoyed unlimited access to the Quest HR, Health & Safety, Legal and Tax advice service, plus an extensive document library – as part of their membership.

Members were provided with a raft of information to help them cope with the pandemic and implications on running their businesses.

Nick Swan, MD of Love Water says: “I have called Quest on a number of occasions over the last few months, and they have been really helpful in guiding me through certain personnel communication processes.”

WHA Chairman, Jon Wicks says: “The WHA is highly sensitive to the concerns and needs of returning businesses.  We have been keen to furnish our Members with as much information as possible to ensure water dispensers will continue to be managed safely, and still provide the important hydration solutions needed by the country’s workforce.  It is interesting to see that customers are choosing to increase the number of dispensers on site to enable more effective social distancing.”

WHA reaches out to FMs

When FMs are looking for hydration solutions for their customers it may be difficult to distinguish between all the various companies and offerings in the marketplace.   That’s where the Water-Dispenser and Hydration Association (WHA) comes in.    The WHA treats safety as its highest priority and is the body that oversees its Members to ensure continued and sustainable standards.  So what’s in it for FMs? – especially during and beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.

Using a WHA Member gives peace of mind; just as you would only use approved suppliers to fit electrical and gas appliances, you need to ensure that your water dispenser provider is a professional too – and you can do this by using a WHA Member.

WHA Members must follow the highest standards in safety and hygiene.  They are audited annually to standards that are regularly reviewed and revised to ensure that regulatory obligations are met, and often exceeded.

WHA – Safely re-introducing workplace hydration

Posted on 9th June 2020 by Phillipa ClowPosted in Hydration, News, UncategorisedLeave a Comment on WHA – Safely re-introducing workplace hydration

WHA is a trade association that promotes water and hydration for employee health, productivity and wellbeing has issued two new Customer Factsheets:

Safely re-introducing workplace hydration

Essential Care of Your Water Dispenser

This guidance is to help businesses provide hydration safety post-Covid as they resume working.  For workers returning to work the fear of contracting the virus is at the forefront;  in reality, they will face no more risk of cross-contamination from a water dispenser than from opening doors, using toilets and other communal facilities.  Simple regular cleaning of the water output with food grade sanitiser is sufficient.
